Outlook 2003 can not find Global Address List after downgrading from Outlook 2007

I have a user who recently downgraded from outlook 2007 to outlook 2003 on an XP client machine. Since the downgrade he can not see or find the company global address list. My question is can we add the GAL configuration manually into Outlook 2003?

Regarding your concern, I suggest you use online mode to check whether you can see the company global address list or not.

If you still cannot see the GAL, please confirm that your Outlook can connect the Exchange Server well.

If you can view the GAL when you are in online mode, this issue may be caused by offline address book did not download successfully. You can follow these steps to download the OAB manually:

1. Click Tools, point to Send/Receive, and then click Download Address Book.

2. Click OK to accept the Offline Address Book dialog box settings.
