I have a client using Outlook 2007 to pull in pop3 messages. Over the past few months she keeps getting the error that the PST file is corrupted and to use scanpst.exe to fix the problem. I have ran scanpst to fix, performed a full virus scan, and did a chkdsk /F, compacted the file and after a few times opening outlook it will come up with errors again.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

That is what PST files do. They get corrupted very easily.
Have you replaced the PST file completely?

Not storing it on a network drive, or anything like that? If so, that will also corrupt the PST file very quickly.

What would be the best way to go about replacing the file? If I backup the file, will it just copy over the problem?

Create a new Outlook data file, then open the old PST and move the content across.
The end goal is to empty the original PST file and then delete it. Repeated repairs will not always fix any underlying problem.
