I manage a law firm and we use Outlook 2010 (just upgraded from 2003) and we are having troubles getting the search feature to narrow its hits. For example, in the subject line of the calender item we type 1199.005, meeting with bill. The next entry might be 1199.010, depposition of Kim. Another entry may be 1199.007 meeting with expert. We used to be able to seach "1199.005" and have displayed all items calender for that number. Now Outlook returnes ALL 1199.*** numbers. I have used Quotations and Logical Operators such as 1199 AND 005 and nothing works. In fact, when I use logical operators, Outlook returns nothing. I've have tried many different machines and searching methods, even to old find feature and the results are the same. In 2003, this seach worked perfectly. Anyone have a fix?
