After formatting, have reinstalled MS XP Pro, MS Office Pro 2003, Norton Internet Security 2011, Adobe Acrobat 9.4.2, WinZip 15.0 Pro that came with WinZip Courier 3.0, Registry Booster 2009, in that order, with updates for all that exceeds 1 GB and many hours.
In Outlook 2003, Word 2003 is set as e-mail editor. When composing new e-mail message, it uses Word 2003 as editor. However, when replying and forwarding, the following message appears: "Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead. An OLE registration error occurred. The program is not correctly installed. Run Setup again for the program."
Running setup would mean Repair / Re-install the Office suite to its original state and re-installation of all updates (and other programs that also function as add-ons for Office products, like Adobe, WinZip).
Is there a shorter way, any tweak available?
Meanwhile, have done "detect & repair" for both WORD and Outlook and tried advice per Microsoft bulletin 906307. No luck.
Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.
