outlook export to excel in real time

hello,

I want to export from outlook a mail to excel so that i cam use a macro in excel but the problem is that then i receive a second mail the excel is not uploaded.

I guess the problem is that the excel must be opened at all time. I tried to share the excel as workbook (autosave 1 min) but no result.

It is very important that the excel stays open all time and updated every time i get a new mail

Can u please help me ? :D
 
Excel would need to be open for any macro or even odbc to pull Outlook data into Excel.

Does it have to be excel? If you could use Acess, the data can be shared easier.

OK. Can u please show me the how to import from Acess to excel (open excel)?

I have to export from outlook into acess but from here i think ill have the same problem with acess -> excel that i have with outlook -> excel. And yes it is a must that the end result to be in excel.

Since Excel is the requirement, try using Outlook VBA to push email to Excel. It can kick in everytime new mail arrives.




Does it have to be instantaneous? Would running a macro every few minutes work?
