-----Reposted from Outlook Forum---
I am currently using outlook 2007 & OWA/exchange 2010 to track time spent on projects by sending(booking) to a resource calendar. If I forget to track some time and would like to set this time on my calender on a previous day and send to the resource, the resource will deny due to it being an appointment in the past. I cannot seem to find a way in the API and in the MS forums to complete this task easily.
Is anyone else doing this or are there 3rd party tools that will allow to book resources in the past successfully? Since the resource box is the tracking control, moves, cancels, time changes etc need to propogate to resource.
If turning off booking assistant and just using tentative, cancels not going through.
Any help with this or direction on finding the answer would be appreciated.
Thanks!
