Previously, using Windows XP and Office 2007, we could drag and drop an individual email message from Outlook to a directory in Windows Explorer and depending on the method, the email message would either MOVE or COPY.
Now we have upgraded some machines to Win7x64, using the same version of Office and no matter the method used, when you drag and drop an email message into a directory in Explorer, it will only make a COPY - it will not MOVE. This includes using the right click drag and drop method and choosing the MOVE option, and dragging while pressing SHIFT.
We want to drag and drop a message and have it MOVE.
