Hello, I wanted to know if anyone had any guidance on this. Tasks are present under the task view itself, but when switching over to calender, the tasks do not display in calendar view. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any assistance!

Tasks will not display on the calendar but will be on the To-do bar's task list to the right.

View, To-do bar to turn it on if you don't see it. Screenshot: http://slipstick.me/jing/todo0330.png

I have a similar issue. When trying to access tasks in Outlook 2007 I have an error message that says " The operation failed. An object could not be found. "

I have also noticed that my reminders no longer work, which I really need back and functional.

I'm not sure if there is a corruption with my .PST file or if this is another issue...

Any advice would be tremendously appreciated.

Thank you,

Thank you,

I FIGURED OUT MY FIX, WHICH WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE .PST FILE. I HAD TWO SHOWING THAT WERE THE SAME, UNDER TOOLS, ACCOUNTS, DATA FILES.

FIX THAT WORKED FOR ME:

  1. CLOSED OUTLOOK
  2. WENT TO C:/USER/"MY NAME"/APP DATA/MICROSOFT/OUTLOOK THEN I COPIED THE .PST FILE TO ANOTHER FOLDER FOR A BACKUP, JUST IN CASE...
  3. OPENED OUTLOOK 2007 AND REMOVED ONE OF THE DATA FILES (AS THERE WERE TWO WITH THE SAME NAME) ... NOW IF YOU REMOVE THE WRONG ONE AND YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR TREE SHOWING YOUR INBOX AND SUBSEQUENT FOLDERS - AND LOOK FOR THE "+" AND CLICK IT TO BE SURE... DON'T PANIC, JUST USE THE "ADD" DATA FILE AND SELECT YOUR NORMAL FILE AVAILABLE... YOU SHOULD NOW ONLY HAVE THE ONE DATA FILE (NO DUPLICATE FILES, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY DATA FILES YOU MAY HAVE OR USE)
  4. CLOSE OUTLOOK
  5. USE RUN BY GOING TO PROGRAMS AND TYPING "RUN" (WITHOUT THE QUOTES) AND IN THE RUN BOX TYPE OR COPY/PASTE FROM HERE: outlook.exe /resettodobar THEN CLICK ENTER. NOTE: THERE IS A SPACE BETWEEN .exe and the / if you don't include, it doesn't work, so come back and just copy paste from here...

THIS WILL RESET THE TO-DO-BAR AND RE-OPEN OUTLOOK. YOU SHOULD NOW SEE YOUR TASKS APPEAR AS WELL AS YOUR REMINDER ALERTS WORKING AGAIN.
