Hello - I use the calendar feature of Outlook 2007 constantly and am asked to update meeting notices often (new date/time, etc). When I do, I always update the meeting notice from the calendar view and send out. My original notice is immediately replaced on my calendar (or my boss' calendar).
What's happening is that many times the receivers aren't receiving the notices as updates to the original notice. They're receiving them as separate meeting notices (not being replaced). I can't figure out why this is occurring.
One thought I had is that if the receiver didn't accept the original notice, but marked it as Tentative, could that be why the update isn't replacing the original notice?
Another thought I just had is that should I be updating the notice from my Sent folder and not from the calendar directly? (I used to use Groupwise and that's how it was done with that package).
Does anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks! kmp
