Outlook 2010 Mutliple Exchange Accounts SET UP QUESTIONS

Exchange Server
Have 4 exchange accounts set up on 1 outlook 2010 profile.

1 account used for mail, calender, contacts, notes, tasks

Other 3 accounts just e mail

Outlook tree is cluttered, duplicating all folders etc for the 4 separate accounts.

Is there anyway to remove the calender, contacts, tasks, note etc for the 3 accounts only beng used for e mail ?

You can delete them using mfcmapi, but outlook will recreate them. You can hide them in the navigation pane. Create a new group on each pane and move the unused folders to the new group.

OK I have already done this, was looking for a permanent removal rather than hiding them.

Was also wondering if I could merge the in, out, draft and sent boxes for all 4 accounts into 1 set of boxes, although I guess this defeats the purpose of having separate mailboxes and will be pretty much impossible ?
 
The only thing you could do is access the other 3 using POP3 and deliver to your default account. If you only read those boxes, it shouldn't be an issue, but if you reply and have the reply dropped in the correct account's sent folder, this won't work.




You have the 3 extra exchange accounts opened using outlook 2010 multiple account feature? Remove the extras, have permissions changed so your default account has read/write access to the inbox (you need View permission on the root too) - then add it using the More Settings button in account settings. If you send mail from the account you need to have Send as permission on that mailbox, and may want permissions to the sent and deleted folder too. (Tutorial: http://www.slipstick.com/tutorials/sendas/permissions.htm)
