Can not drag e-mails from search to folders

I have a user who is running Office 2002 on Windows XP. When the user does a search for e-mails and attempts to drag them from the search window to folder that the user created, they get an error message, "cannot move email", However when the user right clicks on the email in the search window and clicks move, they can move it that way. Any ideas or suggestions?
 
There was a bug similar to this (possibly the same bug, my memory is fuzzy that far back :)) -the only work around is to use the move command. I thought the bug was first noticed in Outlook 2003 but its possible its in older versions and no one noticed. (Outlook 2010 has similar issues too).
