VPN interfering with the non-VPN Outlook account

I have 2 accounts in Outlook, 1 private + 1 corporate on an Exchange Server. The corporate runs only via VPN. The catch is that if the VPN is not connected I can't send even my private mails nor can I set up new Address Book entries with an e-mail address.

Does anyone have a clue how to tackle this?
 
That's weird - its usually the other way around, and you can't send if vpn is connected.




go to Tools, Accounts, double click on the pop account and click more settings - look on the connecton tab. Is it set to use the vpn?

Hi, thx. The Connections are set to LAN and nothing else. I have just tried it again and this time it worked. I guess that the clue is in the form or type of the e-mail address. I ma guessing... if a mail comes in vhile VPN is connected it can be replied to only vhen VPN is connected... pure guess...

is it something with the prioritization of the accounts...???!!!

Even our IT support has no idea :-(
