Hi Everyone,
I have a requirement which is pretty hard to meet. I have two users, let's say userA and userB. They are part of a Distribution List on Exchange call it Team (By the way, Exchange is 2003, I know
). Now both users have send as permissions for Team. Now the requirement is, sometimes UserA sends an email to someone, with Team as the from address, it is saved in UserA's sent items. That's by design and it's fine. Now UserB is not aware that UserA already sent a certain email from Team. Now to let UserB know that UserA already had written to whoever it may be, or vice versa, would like to have a rule where every mail sent FROM a certain ID is CC to the distribution list Team. How do I create such a rule, as I cannot find any option in outlook for the FROM address. There is an option for when sending through a specified account, but this is not an account, it's only a DL.
Anyone got any ideas of how to achieve this? I'm sure there must be many other people having such a requirement where you have people part of some team responding to mails and need to have other team members aware that a response has already been sent. Version of Outlook being used is 2007.
Looking forward to your replies
Joe
