HELP!Problem on Task, only half msg can view

Please help me! whenever my boss send any task to my outlook 2010, it can only view half of the message, what can i do about it?!

It looks like the sender has margins set - but I can't repro it. Even with margins set, the body if fully visible in tasks.




Are you both using Outlook 2010? Do you have SP1 installed?

Oh... are the messages arriving as Tasks or as email? If as email, that indicates a problem with TNEF - the TNEF blob that contains the task data is lost so outlook displays an email message instead.

yes, it was arrived as email, and we are using POP3 to setup email accounts. it there anyway to fix this problem?

The sender needs to set your contact to RTF - He needs to open your contact, double click on the address and change it to use RTF.

Leave the global setting to HTML (first screenshot) - override it with the contact setting.

Hi, thank you for the reply, but i tried all format, its not the issue,

I asked IT dept., they tell me we are have exchange server 2008 or 2010,

is it any possibilities that it's because some setting in the exchange server?

i meant we set up email account using POP3

but our email server is MS exchange server.

is this make any sense to you?

It's possible it's because you aren't connected using native exchange mailbox. There is also a setting on Exchange that converts RTF to HTML but it shouldn't affect mail sent to others on your exchange server.
