Custom print contacts

I have Outlook 2010 and Win 7 Home Premium. My other half bought a very nice small address book and would like to have his address printed his custom way.

- He wants sections: ABC/ DEF/ GHI...etc.

- Within each section he will have 4 different colours of paper - to group 4 different countries.
For this I thought of creating the 4 groups as folders in Outlook Contacts and within each of those having folders for ABC/ DEF...etc.

- Paper size is 8 x 12.5 cm

- Margin left 1.2 cm and other three at .4 mm

- 9pt Arial for all fonts

I decided to do a trial run on a few pages and no matter what I try, I cannot get it to work! I have tried Small Booklet Style and Medium, Custom and non custom, changing sizes fractionally up and down and everything comes up with paper or margin size not being accepted.

There must be a way to do this. Any ideas please?
 
I'd try designing a layout to use with a mail merge in Word. You'll be able to add breaks to split the pages where you want.

Note that instead of using folders, you could use custom views to show the contacts that belong on a page then printing those contacts. Repeat for each page. You're still left with trying to get the margins to work.
