Outlook removed my emails from my server

I just set up my exchange account in Outlook 2013 on my Microsoft Surface RT and everything seemed to go well and I have all my email on there.

However, when I go to my desktop now, I only have the last 2 weeks of emails.

I hope that made sense. I need to have all my emails on my server so I can check them anywhere. Is there anyway to undo what happened or how do I prevent it from happening again?

Any help would be great, thanks.
 
did you set the account up on the RT as an exchange account or pop3? if you log into OWA, do you only have 2 weeks of mail?

On RT, check File, Account Settings, Email tab - double click on the account, then More Settings and Advanced tab. Is it set to delete mail after two weeks? (POP3 accounts only)
