Attachments make individual messages and meeting notices too large

Wish list: Attachments in email messages and meeting notices sent to multiple people make the individual messages and meeting notices too large. Please figure out a way to store all attachments on any particular server ONE TIME and just have pointers/hyperlinks in the individual email messages and meeting notices in order to reduce the size of the individual email messages and meeting notices.
