Lost Contacts

After leaving my company I deleted/removed my email accounts (they use Exchange) but left my IMAP accounts. After a couple days went to review my contacts...they are no longer there nor do I have my address book entries (all empty). I do have my contacts on my iPhone but would like to recover or find the contacts that used to be there.

I've done a scan on my pst folders. One is IMAP the other is not.

Windows 7, Outlook 2010.
 
They were in the exchange account mailbox by the sounds of it. How long ago did you delete the account? If you have a restore point, roll back to before you deleted the account then export the account to a pst file before removing it.

If you don't have a restore point, you'll need to use a commercial application. There is a list to choose from at the end of that article.

For whatever reason, my outlook client stopped sending so I deleted everything including the profile and started over. Created a new profile, re-created my email account but this time as POP3. That cleared up sending/receiving issues. Since my mail server is configured to keep mail for 90 days then recent mail was safe. When I recreated the account I pointed to an old, non-mapi file that held all of my valuable email. Anything that was in the mapi file( still have it) isn't important to me. Then I re-installed I-Cloud but did not choose to update contacts. When I opened outlook all of my missing contacts were in the icloud address book. So, I'm assuming that icloud moved them? Anyway, my next task is to get them back into my data file...yes?
