Is the standalone Outlook 2013 click-to-run or msi?

Hello,

our small company is just about to make the switch from MS Office 2003 to 2013 however we just heard that our software (Zarafa) is not yet compatible with the click-to-run versions of MS Office.

What about the standalone versions of Outlook 2013? Are they click-to-run as well or full msi?

Can I install a standalone version of Outlook and Word and make them work together (Word as Maileditor etc...)?
 
All versions of Office and the standalone apps that are available to all but volume licenses are click to run. Pretty much everyone who will use their product is likely to have access only to click to run, so they are basically saying that there software does not work with Outlook 2013 at all.

Outlook will work with all mail servers that use pop3 or imap - so you can use it for mail, but not for the collaboration features.

Officially, you can't install two standalones and make them work together but you can fix some of the features that might be missing in Outlook when you install standalone outlook. This is for Outlook 2010 but it applies to all versions - http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlook-2010/outlook-2010-standalones-missing-features/ - the trick is at the end of the page and will fix most, if not all, of the issues on that page.
