This has driven me crazy for years.
In email, I have an inbox with lots of folders and subfolders. Some of these are Favorites. When I click on a Favorite, I want outlook to jump to that location in the Inbox folder tree.
Lets say, amongst many other folders, I have one called Customers, with a subfolder for each customer. When I get an email I want to file for a customer, I want to jump to the Customers folder so its a small step to manually then open the relevant customer.
Obviously I can't have a Favorite for every customer. And if Customers is itself buried within the tree, then its a pain to navigate there manually.
I have looked for this functionality from v2003 to v2013 and still no sign of it.
I'm quite capable of writing vba but can't even see any relevant events I can act on (I'm on Outlook 2010).
Can anyone help?
