A few of our 70 Exchange users experience a problem of correcting a phone number on a particular employee contact in their own Outlook contacts folder only to have it revert days later with the previously incorrect information. This contact exists correctly in our Public Folder and this does not happen to everyone (like me for example)
I've deleted and recreated the contact in the Public Folder then pulled it into the user's contact folder (so it'll synch with their iPhone/iPad) to overwrite their version and it still ends up changing.
The user's have deleted the contact from their Contacts and created it from scratch (using a slightly different name for the contact but the same contact information) and again a few days later the contact's phone number changes.
I'm currently monitoring whether the contact reappears once it's deleted from the user's contact folder but not added back manually.
I'm at a loss and can't figure out why this would be happening. Any assistance is appreciated.
thanks,
Dave
