Hello,
I am not sure how exactly to describe my issue, but will try to do my best.
I am using 365 Office subscription in my organization. In my departments we are several colleagues that have a common room for meetings. I would like to create a calendar in Outlook so that each one of my colleagues can enter it and book a timeslot when he uses the room.
I have found a way but unfortunately it is very inconvenient for me. What I did was to create a new calendar group in my on calendar and share it with all my colleagues (attached screen). The problem is that now each time when somebody books a slot, I receive a notification 15 min before, which is huge spam because there are a lot of booked spots. Actually Outlooks treats this calendar the same way as my own. I know that i can turn off notifications completely, but this will disable them for my default calendar which is a no go.
So my question is- Is there a way, to create a shared calendar, but such one that I am not the owner of it, so that I don’t receive notifications.
And second question- since I use Android phone, is there a way to sync only my default calendar, without syncing the Shared one in the default calendar app (not Outlook app). Currently Android does not distinguish them.
Thank you.
