Duplicate Primary Mail Accounts outlook 2010

I have 2 email accounts setup in outlook 2010. When I open outlook in the pane on the left side I see my primary account listed twice. One of the primary accounts works and receives my email fine. The other account is identical but doesn’t have anything in it. All the folders are there but the account doesn’t function.
My secondary email account works fine. I would like to delete the cloned primary account but there doesn’t seem to be a way.
Has anyone ever had this problem?
