I need to recover a corrupted .pst file created by either OL 2002 or 2003

(currently using 2007). Tried Scanpst & Stellar's Repair; they both report

"not a pst file." Recovery ToolBox processes the input but extracts 0

folders and files.

Anyone know of a more forceful tool?

Thanks.

Well, when this tools couldn't recover the file, I think you'll be out

of luck.

Datanumen has a recovery tool but it may not do any better than the others.

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/pst-repair/repair-a-damaged-personal-folders-pst-file/ for Advanced Outlook

Recovery and other tools.

TedMi -

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I'm having the exact same problem - and neither scanpst nor stellar have helped. I cringe at the price tag on the software referral given by diane.

I would appreciate hearing back from you.

There are several other recovery tools as well but you're right; most don't

come cheap. Their price depends on what kind of issues they can fix and

whether you need a business or a home license. The price is relative though;

it all depends on the value of the data that you need to recover.

Home licenses are cheaper for OutlookFIX;

Advanced Outlook Repair is an excellent recovery program as well but more

expensive;

If you decide to order, use "DNC-PUXB-HT" to get a discount.

IIRC; both offer a trial version so that you can see if they can actually

recover data from your pst-file.

I have met the same problem some days before. I found a good tool

called Advanced Outlook Repair. You can download a free demo version

at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe . I think it is a useful

repair tool for you. It is easy to recover your PST file by using its

wizard. It is a powerful tool to recover messages, folders and other

objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files.

Detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair can be found at

http://www.datanumen.com/aor/

What Kind of problem exactly you faced while repairing corrupt .pst file

using Stellar's Outlook PST repair Tool. It may be because of some technical

issue.

Either you can try the new version of the software which is more efficient

and equipped with excellent features like compatibility with windows7, count

of all items in individual folder, MS outlook is not required on system for

running application, no need to rescan the file in full version and most

exciting is 100% preview & Detail Summary Report of all recoverable items

which help you to evaluate the software and make better decision about how

helpful will it be for you?

OR

Try n connect to the customer support which help you to go through the

repair process in user friendly manner. I m sure they will help you out to

resolve the problem.
