I working on a project that needs to offset the start time of a meeting based on duration. So if I set up an hour long meeting, I want to start the meeting at 10 minutes past the original start time and end after 50 minutes. If I have a 30 minute meeting I want to start 5 minutes late and end after 25 minutes. I have created a flow using flow but this sends the original meeting notice and then updates the meeting times. I am trying to do this so that only 1 meeting notice goes out. There is a similar feature but it ends the meeting early rather than starting late. I would basically like to replicate this in reverse.

So you want to start at 10:10 and end at 11? Do you need it automated? A macro could do it, but you can just as easily type the times in 10.10 format... except that will offset the meeting end too. :( Getting a macro to set the correct times is the harder part - its easier to do it as the appointment opens, but its harder to get it to choose the correct time/date. Using the 10 min. sale on the daily calendar would make it easier.

Diane - Yes I want to set the offset based on the meeting duration. 30 minutes or less would start 5 minutes late and anything greater than 30 is a 10 minute late start. I want to automate it so that the user doesn't need to change multiple fields. I have done this in Microsoft Flow, but it sends an update so that the attendees will get the original meeting notice and then an update based on the duration. I was toying with the idea about upon creation, have the macro make a duplicate meeting with the same parameters as the original meeting except with the time offset. Then delete the original meeting. I am not sure if this will send a cancellation or if that can be blocked before it gets sent.
