Moving emails between folder Outlook for Mac

I would like to see this capability as well as being able to edit the subject line as I did in Windows.

you should be able to move mail between folders.

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?

It says "Microsoft sync technology" but there is one gmail, and 4 (MSN,Hotmail,Live)

Not necessarily. It should work in both the old or "new" Outlook...

If you have exchange accounts - msn, hotmail, live - you can move mail around.

But...

If you have gmail added as a 'Microsoft cloud account' moving mail may not work, unless you are moving it out of the account.

If the gmail account has the google icon, it uses the cloud. I don't recall if it says "Microsoft sync technology" in the new outlook, but that would indicate the cloud, not IMAP. If you remove the account and add it back as IMAP, moving show work. After outlook find the account, you need to click Not Google to select IMAP.

Yes, the Gmail account has the icon, but I never move mail from there. The others all have an Outlook symbol and that's where I tried to move from me@hotmail.com to me@msn.com. I will try it again next time I have one to move. In the meantime, I just forwarded. Thank you

In the "new Outlook " you can't move messages between accounts. I was able to move to folders within the mailbox though.
