Changing the Deleted Items location in Outlook 2019

After using for about a year, I wanted to install a clean Outlook 2019 and iCloud for Windows on my Windows 10 machine because Calendars were not syncing correctly. I deleted both Outlook and iCloud then re-installed Outlook 2019 and the latest version of iCloud for Windows ( the exe version). All came up well. I subscribed all of my iCloud imap folders, but Outlook is now placing all deleted mail in the Deleted Messages folder. Previously, it was placing all deleted mail in the Deleted Items folder, which is mapped to Trash on my IOS devices. How do I direct Outlook 2019 to use Deleted Items? Thanks.
 
Which folder is icloud.com using for deleted messages? That is the one Outlook uses - and by default it is Deleted Messages. (I don't recall if changing it in iOS changes it on the server... I'll need to check.)
 
Hi, Diane. Thanks for looking into this.
I actually set this up on both my Windows 10 desktop and laptop last year. I recently made the changes above on the laptop to test if the updates would fix the calendar problem. (They did). But now, the folder issue. The desktop uses the Deleted Items folder, as did the laptop before the changes. Now the laptop wants to use the Deleted Messages folder (which has never been used). My iPhone and iPad have their Trash folders mapped to Deleted Items. When I originally set up iCloud for Windows last year, this is the way Windows set things up. It looks like something has changed in that time - perhaps a Windows update? In other posts I have found, older versions of Outlook had a menu under Mail Setup/Account Settings which allowed changing the location of deleted mail. It is not there anymore in Outlook 2019. Has this menu moved or just gone away? Is there any alternative?
