Thanks for your help till now Diane. I'm afraid that I've wasted your time! I was sure that neither the cc nor the bcc functions worked when I tested sending them to my wifes computer. Alas .. it appears they do work. Anyway thanks for being there for any future Outlook queries. all the best...

Further testing of my cc and bcc functions reveals that it does work! ... Just not when I use it to my wife's computer, which is about 6 feet away from me?! Very strange. Any ideas? cheers, Jim

I've been testing with just one name in the CC and one in the BCC. I use Avast free version. I don't think it scans outgoing. I haven't tried running in Safe mode. Actually I wouldn't know how!

It looks as though it has gone on my end ... but doesn't arrive at the other end.

The Cc and Bcc functions are not working in my Outlook 2007 (using Windows XP) I've searched the net fairly extensively and can't find any help with this problem. Hopefully you can help me! thanks, Jim Migdoll
