Cc and Bcc not working

The Cc and Bcc functions are not working in my Outlook 2007 (using Windows XP) I've searched the net fairly extensively and can't find any help with this problem. Hopefully you can help me!

CC's usually aren't a problem, but some spam filters will filter BCC's. How many names are on the CC'd messages?

What antivirus do you use? Is it scanning outgoing mail? Do the messages arrive if you run outlook in Safe mode?

I've been testing with just one name in the CC and one in the BCC. I use Avast free version. I don't think it scans outgoing. I haven't tried running in Safe mode. Actually I wouldn't know how!

Further testing of my cc and bcc functions reveals that it does work! ... Just not when I use it to my wife's computer, which is about 6 feet away from me?! Very strange. Any ideas?

it's not the distance - but something is filtering your mail as spam. It could be the mail server, it could be her antispam filters. Did you check her junk folder? If everyone else gets it, its not your AV filtering it.

Try this: address a message to her and delete her name from autocomplete when it comes up. Does it work when you retype it?

Thanks for your help till now Diane. I'm afraid that I've wasted your time! I was sure that neither the cc nor the bcc functions worked when I tested sending them to my wifes computer. Alas .. it appears they do work. Anyway thanks for being there for any future Outlook queries.
