bcc and Google imap

I realize you cannot view bcc items from the Sent folder in an email created by the user when using Google imap. I moved the emails to my client side data folder but still ccannot see the bcc items. I can go in and open to edit but the options tab does not show the bcc access. How do I show my bcc addresses? One suggestion was to save the sent items to the client. By default the emails are saved to Gmail's Sent folder so how would I change this default to save to my client?
 
Once the emails are sent, you can't change it by moving them back to Outlook. If the BCC are in the message header, i have a macro that can pull them out and put them in a custom field.

To change where outlook saves email, go to File, Account Settings, double click on the gmail account and then More Settings. Look on the Sent Items tab - gmail will save a copy in the mailbox when it sends the message so you don't need ot save to gmail here.
 
BTW, you'll choose the last option, to save in the local folders. This will put sent items in with the calendar and contacts. The recommendation for gmail is to not save sent item (top option) to avoid duplicates, which are created when you save sent items in the gmail sent folder.
 
Fantastic! You solved two issues for the advice of one. The extra email from the Sent items was always a nagging problem but not a headache like the lack of addresses from the bcc. btw, you indicated you a macro available for recovering the bcc addresses to a different field. How to I get it?
