So I have Outlook on my laptop and I have 5 mailboxes in there. 2 of which are work ones. Then I have a gmail personal, an amazon workmail, and another 2 google based boxes for another work project). Six in total. They all have their own calendars, except the last google mail one which is a new account and that was the cal I wanted to get a tick box for in the left pane.
I saved the google calendar in question as a zip file. I went to file ( in outlook) and then import/export and then clicked on the top of the list in downloads (thinking it was the zip file.. it wasn't it was titled "basic" and I think its a shared calendar from work basically AND NOT THE RIGHT ONE CLEARLY (think it says exchange server when I hover over any of the meetings it pulled in). While it was importing, I hit cancel all before it finished hoping it would just fail the whole operation. Ithink also I had hit "integrate" from one of the google choices for the cal if that has any relevance as to why its overlayed into a different calendar.
The result is the amazon calendar and this new random calendar are overlayed and the background now has some kind of feint hash design too which is annoying. I had just wanted to have the option to see the new google account as a calendar on the left and when I tick it - it would overlay on to whatever was there.
So now I don't have the correct google calendar sync'd. And I have a random one integrated into my amazon web mail account that is in outlook for a diff project. I dont even know if any of this makes any sense, I'm not very good at this stuff. Can anyone help get me back to where I was and get rid of whatever I did. please
