BCC lists addressees

I frequently use BCC when sending emails to Distribution Lists. Google is my email provider. I recently switched from POP to IMAP. I have noticed that since that switch to IMAP, BCC does not seem to work...it lists all names/email addresses on the Distribution List although it was entered in BCC. How can I correct this so BCC names/email addresses do not appear on everyone's email?
 
BCC would perform its job. Check once again whether you are putting them into correct field or not.
