Navigation Pane selection with shortcuts

I would like to set up a set of shortcuts on my task bar that will open the Mail, Calendar or Task pane in Outlook 2013. Outlook will already be running, I just want to be able switch between panes with a single click.

Create shortcuts using command lines in this format-

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\outlook.exe" /select outlook:calendar

in some cases you can use just outlook or outlook.exe - i think the new shortcut command needs the full path. If it opens a new window, try adding the /recycle switch.

outlook /select "outlook:Inbox"

If outlook is in focus, use the buttons at the bottom of the navigation pane or click the folder names in the folder bar under the navigation pane. Ctrl+n shortcuts also switch modules - 1,2,3,4,5,7,8

The switches work fine, thanks. The Outlook shortcuts I added show an "x" instead of the the normal shortcut arrow. What does the "x" signify?

Command that I used.
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\OUTLOOK.EXE" /select outlook:tasks /recycle

The icon seems to sometimes switch to the following, with a different icon.
