Every time I open outlook 13 w/BCM the navigation setting I set previously are lost and it reverts back to default. i.e. I set for the following...

Mail BCM Calendar People Tasks Notes Folders shortcuts ...

And when I re-open (doesn't matter whether I reboot or not) the order is back to:

Mail Calendar People Tasks ...

Not a huge deal but certainly irrating to have to constantly reset the thing...

thx.

Michael

And here I thought it was me and because i use two computers with the same Exchange account. Mine is working now - i reset the options and it seems to be better.
Not following what you mean by "reset the options" I have reviewed the "options" (file > options) and do not see anything that resembles "reset" Could you be more specific as to what you did to resolve?

FWIW, I just did a full re-install of Win7 with the full re-install of Office 13/BCM and the same behavior presents itself. I'm starting to be of the opinion Office 13 is buggy with BCM only making it worse.

I'm sure BCM plays a role in the problem, although mine seemed ok before i installed CRM to test something. That is when the funkiness started. I disabled crm but it didn't solve the problem.

Click the three dots at the end of the module names to show the dialog - choose Navigation options from there.

Sorry Diane,

Did what you advised to do, reset the values for the bar, but it didn't help.

I have done the "reset" thing until I was blue in the face and it did nothing to resolve the issue. So every time I open Outlook I have to clip on the 3 dots and modify the nav options so that BCM will show.

Frankly I find this kind of engineering (or such I say "lack of engineering") on MS's part to be very disappointing and frustrating. BCM is the best crm solution I have found for my needs and for it to be so good in some ways and so poor in others just drives me nuts sometimes. I'm gradually getting to the point where I think I will have to create my own solution

Mine went back to not working right after a few weeks. I'll check with support on it.

Only that they are looking at it. It is apparently caused by BCM.

Are there any developments on this bug? Or are there still to few reactions for MS to take action?
