Error saving screenshots in a custom form in outlook 2016, outlook 365 - ok in outlook 2013, outlook 2010

Hello - when saving an item with any screenshot in it using a custom form with outlook 2016 or outlook 365, i get the following error message on trying to save the item :

"The item cannot be saved to this folder. The folder was deleted or moved, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for the item?"

The same action in outlook 2013 or outlook 2010 works without any issue. The screenshots are being saved into the Notes field of the custom form(the main body).

Could someone point me in the right direction? Has some change been made from Outlook 2016 that causes this issue and is there a workaround?

Hi - yes it is an exchange account - there is vbscript code in the form, but i tried publishing a new form without the code and had the same issue. Also i tried creating a new journal folder in my mailbox, published the custom form to it and tried saving an item using that form. This saved successfully with the screenshot into that folder. So it seems this issue is specific to the Ex2010 public folders we are currently using. Thanks for your help ...
 
No it is mail enabled. Also, the issue is only happeneing for Outlook 2016 and higher. Outlook 2013 and Outlook 2010 are ok ...
 
I could try applying the registry setting mentioned in the article on the Exchange Server - do you think this is worth trying?
