Outlook 2019 Certificate error

I am trying to use Outlook 2019 to access POP3 email . The domain I am connecting to is home.3b.co.uk

I used an earlier version of Outlook until recently which did not seem to have any security options set.

I am now using Outlook 2019. After some experimentation I have a arrived at settings that allow me to send and receive emails.

However the error I receive now pops up frequently. The text of the error is “The Server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified”

The settings I am using are:-

POP3 mail Incoming

Server: mail.home.3b.co.uk

Port: 995

Encryption method: SSL/TLS

Require login using SPA unchecked





Outgoing

Server: mail.home.3b.co.uk

Port: 587

Encryption method: Auto

Require login using SPA unchecked




Can anyone suggest how I might overcome this error?

Is there any way I can get a log to see what is going on when sending/receiving mail?

Check the certificate - what domain is it issued to?

Diane, I'm so grateful to you for your help. I checked out the certifcate and the mail servers were totally different from what I had setup. I changed them to reflect the certificate and now the problem has gone away. Thank you.
