Dear Diane,
I've Outlook 2019 installed on Win 10. I have a gmail account running w/in Outlook 2019 and configured as imap. At first sync, the 15,000+ emails downloaded to Outlook and the status bar reflected that the inbox was "Filtered" but the summary column only showed emails back to 10/5/20 while the GMail server showed emails back to 2010.
I removed the filters (View | View Settings | Filter... |Messages | Clear All). That action removed the filters and the status bar showed "items 15,000+" & "unread" 15000+". However, summary column still only shows emails back to 10/5/20.
In so far as I know when I access the GMail server through a browser there are no filters set w/in the gmail account.
Do you know of a way that all 15,000+ emails can be exposed in the summary column?
As ever, thanks for your knowledge and your willingness to share it so generously w/ we who are the lesser cognoscenti.
