Subdirectories in people don't show up in the address book

Hi,

I successfully, or so I thought, imported contacts from my ics-formatted contacts file. But, when I create a new email, the subdirectories in People don't show up in the address book in outlook 2013.

Any ideas why, and more importantly, how to be able to see the contacts in various subdirectories when I try to access them (in creating an email) through People?

I'm going to assume that subdirectories = contact folders. Right click on each folder and choose Properties then go to the Outlook Address Book tab and tick the box to show as an address book.
