I just finished a migration from a MS-Exchange email service (GoDaddy) to FastMail. I am now neither able to delete folders that I manually imported nor folders I newly create. I migrated my data and its file structure directly from GoDaddy to Fastmail without a problem. Likewise, I can access this data in FastMail through SMTP synhcing fine. I can delete folders (and files) in the FastMail web interface and they are deleted in Outlook. However< can;t delete the folders in Outlook directly.
The delete command is functional - I can right-click a folder, select delete. I get the pop-up dialogue box "Move ... to your Deleted items folder?". I select "yes" and the folder does not delete.
I tried starting Outlook in "safe mode" and doing a scan/fix with ScanPST - neither worked.
As my data is safe with Fastmail, I am inclined to delete and re-install Outlook 2019.
Anyone have any ideas?
