Unable to link email messages in BCM using a single microsoft office 365 account in outlook 2013

With a brand new Outlook 2013 installation I have setup an single office 365 email account in outlook and I am using BCM 2013. When I try to link emails to my business contacts, it stops at preparing.... and will not continue, the program is still running and doesn't change to "not responding", it just goes on and never changes from "preparing..."

I attempt to link emails by going to the file menu-> Business Contact Manager-> manage linking and tracking -> select a group of contacts and then click on the search and link button. However that is when it says "preparing..." and goes nowhere.

I turned on logging and noticed the following message in the log. "EmailAutoAssociator is not initialized"

I have checked the sql services and they are running, made sure I only have one account and that it is in cached mode, etc. also I checked on the forums and have tried the suggestions mentioned there, most notably this thread: Unable to link past email messages in BCM

I appreciate any suggestions that you have to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Jens,

I have the same problem and it's new. I suspect that it has something to do with an update, windows and/or office. I've spent hours on this but no success. If I find anything I'll post here and please do the same.
