Outlook for Mac 2019 using on desktop and laptop IMAP on both need help with folders

Longtime Outlook user on Mac. Formerly using POP3 on my desktop with folders and rules to manage. New Mac laptop set up IMAP account with the same email address. Had to make all new folders on laptop as well as set up new rules. Today I set up IMAP on my desktop changed from POP3. Everything seemed to migrate as expected EXCEPT the rules for the folders. Has anyone had this issue and if so, would you please share your procedures in resolving it. I feel like I am just missing something. I cannot seem to get the rules to coincide. Thanks...BTW I am new to the forum.
