Outlook 2019 is cutting Picture Extension *.pn_

I noticed that OL 2019 is cutting the extension *.png to *.pn_

This also happens with *pd_ instead of *.pdf

How to change this behaviour

there you can set what you need e.g.

That's the one... disable email scanning. It won't fix attachments already downloaded though, only future attachments.

You can either save the attachment and fix the extension or save one, right click on it and choose an 'open with' app, so in the future all .pd_ will open. (I would still disable email scanning - regular scanning will pick up any infected document if you try to open them.)
