Reading Pane (Reading Pain?) Default Setting

Hello All,

Does anyone know how, on the Outlook 2016 client, permanently to set the Reading Pane for all new folders created to "off" as the default (rather than "Right"). At present, every time I create a new mail folder/subfolder on the left navigation pane, I then have to click on the folder in question and then View->Reading Pane->Off. Boring...:mad:!
 
View menu > View Settings > Other Settings. Select off. This may or may not apply to all folders using the view - so... Then go to Change View and make a copy of the View. Then apply view to other folders and apply to all folders.
