Hello:

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (11.8206.8221) SP3

Does anyone know how I can turn on the reading pane for the drafts folder ??

I tried:

View > Arrange By > Current View > Customize Current View

In the Customize View: Messages Dialog, Select the "Other Settings ... "

button

In the "Other Settings" Dialog, Select Reading Pane "Bottom"

Press OK, Press OK

NOTHING HAPPENS !

I seem to be able to get a reading pane for all other folders.

Thanks,

Never overlook the stupidity of Microsoft. This has been disabled to prevent your convenience.

Many of the helpful things that were in Outlook Express (OE) and that should continue to be an option have been disabled so only highly experienced computer users can have full use. Every other program I know of allows viewing of attachments and photos in drafts. Not Outlook, which is purportedly more "advanced" than Outlook Express.

MS seems devoted to making "updated" versions that cost money and deliver less and less. Further, since OE was quite satisfactory, (except the search/find) and easily used by anyone, they have prevented use with "updated" OSs. I just don't get their strategy and don't like their apparent desire to annoy and confuse.
