Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

Also on this page that I linked to before https://support.google.com/mail/thread/4933937?hl=en I see this: To get rid of thousands of "not deleted" emails, I first marked all mails as read, then the mails in Inbox and Sent as unread, filtered on all read mails in the All Mails folder, and...

Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

I suspect those 100,000 messages are sitting somewhere unexpected, and I thought they might be in Trash. But my tests show that Trash items are not shown in All Mail. Have you tried looking in all the Labels that are listed on the left side of Gmail? Also take a look in Manage Labels, to see...

Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

I have a Gmail account but I rarely use it, so this concept of All Mail is new to me. I am playing with it now, and it's behavior is somewhat unexpected. I think am reading through and trying to understand this page, which I think may hold a clue to your problem...

Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

I think I am catching on now. So your goal is to get them out of All Mail, so they no longer count toward your total space used?

Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

I was unaware of the "All Mail" box, and researching it, its purpose seems kind of vague. So my question to you is why are you looking in there, instead of just using the Inbox? Also see if anything useful here: https://support.google.com/mail/thread/4933937?hl=en

I don't have an All Mail list in my Outlook 2016. Is that something you configured?

Moved many emails to Outlook external folder, need to delete on Gmail server

I'll answer this first, since it is straightforward. When you transfer your unwanted emails from the Gmail inbox to the newly created data file, you should MOVE them, not copy them. Then they are gone from the Gmail inbox. As far as your problem now, I am just throwing out an idea that may not...

    Outlook 365 Calendar

If I was to guess, i'd say Outlook was set up with your hotmail in the days before all hotmail was Exchange. So perhaps Outlook decided to create that Outlook.pst file as a place to hold your calendar. I am guessing a new profile with hotmail set up as Exchange would fix your issue.

    Outlook 365 Calendar

OK Outlook created a .pst file on its own to hold the calendar, because the .ost file for the account could not hold a calendar. But if you create a new profile with hotmail as an Exchange account, that should be the default data file and therefore hold calendar, i think

    Outlook 365 Calendar

I did test it. Created a new profile, put email account "D" (the account that had no calendar presently) in as the first email account. (it is hosted on Hostgator). And it got a calendar, and meeting invites sent to it are listed on the calendar. So a solution for you might be to create a new...

    Outlook 365 Calendar

Yes it is odd. i am trying to add a calendar for that account and i can't figure out how. I wonder if i create a new, 2nd, profile and add that account first, if it will get a calendar?

    Outlook 365 Calendar

Yes you are correct about that. But on my Outlook have I have 3 calendars (call them A,B, C) that are stored there. I have 4 email accounts but one (call it D) does not have a calendar associated with it. On the test i did previously, i sent an meeting request from A (the primary account, not...

    Outlook 365 Calendar

I don't use the meetings function, but I did some experimenting just now. For me meeting requests go into the Calendar that is associated with the email that received the meeting invite. So for you, which email address is associated with your "Calendar-Outlook"? My Outlook 2016 does not exhibit...

    icloud contacts sync

If you have multiple Outlook profiles, iCloud will install its folders in the default profile only. And sometimes I've had to fix difficult installations by creating a new profile. Also I have had better luck by using the version of iCloud obtained from the Microsoft Store. Also I found iTunes...

Outlook 2016 Sent Mail absent from Sent Mail or Sent Items Folders

I would start by making sure the email went out. Send an email to yourself. Is it received, and does it show up in Sent mail? And then look at that received email. What email address does it show as the "From" address? Is it in fact the email address you sent it from?

    Gmail in Outlook

I am trying to set up my Gmail account via pop3 in Outlook. I've enabled pop3 in the Gmail settings, also told Gmail to allow less secure applications. I've got the account created in Outlook, (incoming server is set to 995 and SSL/TLS) and when Outlook tests it, it shows success on sending...

Wishlist Arthur workman I need the community's assistance thank you

I was going to tell you to log in via webmail, but when I searched for it I got to this page https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/email which says Customers no longer have the option to keep their Verizon.net email address or extract their data to another service provider. All...

Wishlist Arthur workman I need the community's assistance thank you

In my experience that problem could be due to a wrong password, a wrong Outlook setting, or a problem at Verizon's end. I would start by checking the Outlook settings. Go to your Verizon carrier's "Outlook settings" page to find the right settings (servers, ports, etc). Or you could just call...

Outlook 365 blocked by Google popup

I know you said the box disappears when you close Outlook but I am not convinced it is part of Outlook. Does it have a box on the taskbar associated with it? Have you looked in Task Manager to see if there is a browser running that is responsible for it? Try checking your Outlook add ons, or...
