Hi. I have a new laptop with the latest office 365 running. I install icloud for windows 10 and insert my icloud username and password during setup. It seems to install during which it goes through a download process. An icloud folder appears and when I start outlook the icloud add-in is there. I cannot however see my icloud contacts and the icloud contacts/address book is nowhere to be found.

I have installed and re-installed etc, no help. I have seen suggestions that I might need to enter an app-specific password instead of mine when setting up icloud but that does not seem to work, as in icloud will not install.

Any ideas?
 
Hi, yes the addin is enabled.

By downloading what I am talking about is that it says its downloading xxxnumber of items and takes a while and shows a progress bar. at the end of the process there is an icloud folder on the c drive and the outlook addin in outlook. I thought I'd see icloud folders for notes, contacts etc but I don't.
 
If you have multiple Outlook profiles, iCloud will install its folders in the default profile only.
And sometimes I've had to fix difficult installations by creating a new profile.

Also I have had better luck by using the version of iCloud obtained from the Microsoft Store.

Also I found iTunes needs to be installed.
