I assume you are using IMAP to sync the email. IMAP does not sync the calendar, only the email. You would need to use iCloud for Windows (or perhaps some other app) to sync the calendar and contacts.

I just did some tests on my outlook 2016. Photos in the body of email will not display in a viewer when clicked on. Photos sent from my iPhone are attachments, so they do use the viewer.

Since it works in Safe mode, a good test would seem to be to disable all your Add-ins.

If I was trying to troubleshoot this, I would create a 2nd profile, with only one email account in it. I would NOT want that to be a Google account, and ideally just for purposes of this test, i would want it to be POP3. And see if the issue still occurs.
