I have just reloaded Outlook in safe mode as requested and will see what happens.

The exfso2 is the primary account, and this is the one it occurs on. I have not tried safe mode as I would have to leave it on safe mode all day, not sure if that would affect the mail handling at all? I must admit I have the frequency set on 3 minutes, so I will change that setting.

That is the really strange thing, it only occurs on the first account!!

Just for information, this is the pop up message I get:

I have two email accounts with my ISP, and on one of them I am regularly being asked for my login details, ie Username and password. These are correct and I have added a tick in the appropriate box to remember password. It is NOT doing it on the other account. This does not happen all the time...
