Hi. Please excuse me if I am being thick. The rules are still there from when I was using outlook 2010. I ran outlook.exe/cleanrules thinking this would delete all the rules. However the old rules are still there and I am still getting the original warning. Ian

Hi I have recently upgraded my office application to 2013. I use windows 8 and both windows and office are genuine, not pirate copies. All works fine on outlook expect the rules part. If I try to create a rule I get the error message "the connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable...
