How to search for items in Outbox with multiple accounts?

Thank you, Diane, for an answer that makes sense. I do not use favorites, but only because I have a custom ribbon that contains all the searches I could need (with the exception of this Outbox one!) that are built using VBA and consolidate all of my accounts into a unified inbox, or unified...

How to search for items in Outbox with multiple accounts?

There are items in my outbox, when I have composed a message but have not yet done a “send and receive.“ Because I have many accounts, I may compose a message and then want to double check which account I’m sending it from. That either entails going to each one of my many accounts and opening...

How to search for items in Outbox with multiple accounts?

Outlook (desktop app for Microsoft365) restarts every time I save my VBA?

Every time I have the VBA window open - whether or not I've done any editing - and then click Ctrl-S to save, Outlook closes and then restarts. My changes do seem to be saved, but something's clearly not right. Anyone else experiencing this, or know what might be causing it?

How to search for items in Outbox with multiple accounts?

Because I use a multitude of account providers (gmail, comcast, outlook, others) in Outlook (from Microsoft 365), I know that, to search for items in Sent folders the folder names can be "Sent," "Sent Mail," "Sent Items" ... When I search for items in folder:Outbox - even when I know there are...

Why does Outlook (desktop) 365 for Windows keep making me input my passwords?

Canceling the password dialog allows me into my email, but it isn't synching, then. No POP3 accounts at all! Since I pay for my Office365 account, I'm trying to figure out how to get Microsoft to answer this - but please let me know if you hear or think of anything!

Why does Outlook (desktop) 365 for Windows keep making me input my passwords?

Thanks for trying to help with this. I get this occasionally (every few months?), and have for at least a year. My version is 2203, build 15028.20228 Click-to-run, whatever that means!

Why does Outlook (desktop) 365 for Windows keep making me input my passwords?

It happened the day I wrote this post - had to reenter all my account passwords. Again, today. Making me want to switch from Outlook to Thunderbird, or something non-Microsoft. It's so frustrating to have issues with a MS product and feel like you're the only one! What is the current support...

Why does Outlook (desktop) 365 for Windows keep making me input my passwords?

I have almost entirely IMAP accounts, and two Outlook.com accounts (which may be set up as MS Exchange, I'm not sure). Most of them are GMail accounts. I never take Outlook offline. I am not currently using CCleaner - but my husband does. He doesn't have this password issue. Please tell me...

Why does Outlook (desktop) 365 for Windows keep making me input my passwords?

I use Outlook from Office 365 on Windows 10 (Home). Been using Outlook for literally decades. I'm a little crazy in that I have 16 email accounts (for various purposes). Periodically, Outlook will forget all of my accounts' saved passwords and make me re-enter them. Entering 16 email...

New weird behavior (or, why can't they leave well enough alone?)

Sometimes, after reading and then closing an email in Outlook (365) and returning to the inbox, I press the delete key to delete the email just read, and nothing happens. Then, I click on the Home tab and the Delete icon there - and nothing happens. Eventually, function is restored. But why...

Search not accurate, but not indexing

I don't have Office 2019 - I have Microsoft 365, and I think I did this, but I'll try it again. What's working for me right now is - I created a batch file (that I have to run with admin rights) that stops and then starts the Windows Search Service. Then I start Outlook, and my searches work...

Search not accurate, but not indexing

As of today - simple searches - not VBA ones, just simple strings entered into the search bar - are no longer working. I get "Searching..." and never receive ANY results. No one else is seeing this problem? How do I resolve this? I have an open case (I think?) with Microsoft, but am not...

Search not accurate, but not indexing

Well, today I'm not getting any results, so I suspect either a problem with the recent Windows update and search indexing, or corruption in my profile? This is very frustrating, because my VBA searches frequently have issues - but, other times they work fine so I'm pretty sure the VBA code is...

Search not accurate, but not indexing

I can't see how to edit my post, but that search string should NOT have emoticons in it! Should be (folder:Inbox OR folder: (All Mail) ) received: (>=" & variable & ")" (without the extra spaces in there).

Search not accurate, but not indexing

Is this a VBA issue, an Outlook issue, or a Windows issue? I'm using Outlook for MS 365, and recently got a Windows 10 update (Windows 10 Home, v 10.0.19042 Build 19042). Now, my VBA advanced searches return some results, but not all. Today, for example, with a variable set to 24 hours ago...

Profiles and accounts and PSTs and OSTs

I guess I had some free Office apps, plus some holdover installation files from an install I was able to do via work (Education), plus my 2013 installation, and everything was just confused. I used the Office "cleanup" tool to deinstall everything, and installed from my Office 365 account, and...
